Water Towers... in John Deere Green!

Water Towers! For many small towns across our country it’s the first thing to welcome you to town. Did you know there is a reason they are built to stand so high? The height of the tower creates the pressure necessary to “push” the water to surrounding homes and businesses. The first water tower in the U.S. beganpumping 12 million gallons of water through 26 miles of pipethroughout Louisville, KY in 1860. Today, water towers are used to help regulate water pressure as well as provide water during emergencies. Plus, they tell us “Billy Bob Loves Charlene!”
