Pipe wrenches!

When you work with anything that has parts, you typically have tools to help you join and take apart. Plumbing is no different. Back in 1869, mechanic Daniel C. Stillson in Cambridge, Mass. received U.S. patent #95774 for his pipe wrench! His innovation resulted in an adjustable wrench that would maintain grip and not slip off. Since then, six pipe wrenches have been developed in various sizes, materials, and uses. Whatever the size or material, we are thankful to have those tools make the job of plumbing easier today!
